Airdrops
Weird but free crypto.

Most of my bitcoin is over ten years old, but I add more here and there whenever I see chances to get free BTC from sign up promos. Easy ones include $50 from Gemini, $75 from Kraken, $100 from Crypto.com, and $500 from eToro. I always bother in part because it is fun and in part because I was scraping around for free BTC over a decade ago. Each free BTC coin back then is worth orders of magnitude more today. The same could happen over the next decade.
I then consolidate that bitcoin at OKX. They pay another $200 to new accounts. But here’s the best part: I’ve been earning >100% IRRs from their air drops. Transfer/deposit/buy $1-10k of bitcoin on OKX then join their “X Drops Club” to get free tokens from time to time. Sponsors of new tokens want greater liquidity and trading so give some to crypto investors on platforms such as OKX but OKX’s is by far the most generous I’ve found so far (please let me know if you find a better one!).
Venture capital has a lot of money that it tosses around to firms that can show the metrics that VC wants. So many of those firms pass on some of that money in return for the relevant metrics. This can’t last forever, but while people are handing out free money, I’m happy to take it. Take the tokens and run.
